Description: This class is a practice maker! Successful treatment of the lumbopelvis often requires a precise sequence without which these dysfunctions often quickly return. The arthrokinematics of lumbopelvic motion will be discussed along with its integration with the lower extremity and the upper quadrant. Various methods to evaluate and treat lumbopelvic somatic dysfunctions will taught. While treating disorders of the pelvis and lumbar spine is important in treating acute injuries to the area, the lumbopelvis in an often overlooked and necessary region to treat for long-term improvement in chronic pain situations and autonomic-visceral dysfunctions.
